Kleerex work on Sainsbury’s new non-food look

The Kleerex Group have recently completed work on six newly refurbished Sainsbury’s stores, including their largest store at Sydenham in southeast London with a floorspace of over 90,000 sq.ft.

These stores are Sainsbury’s latest vision in store development and a key part of the project was to enhance and enrich its non-food offer by offering an easy to shop, exciting retail environment.

Kleerex worked collaboratively with four other manufacturers and also with Sainsbury’s design agencies Dalziel & Pow and Twelve, fulfilling over 60 briefs including new equipment for clothing, GM, Health & Beauty and Photoshop.

A large part of Kleerex’s brief was to deliver the new departmental signage system to improve store navigation. Amongst the items supplied were large scale words, some being over 2 metres in length and 400 mm high, and lifestyle boxes, containing mood and lifestyle imagery, which are displayed over 2 metres high to help give customers room setting ideas.
